Summer Competition Week 1

The Summer Competition is under way, with several teams making an early statement.

In Division 1, Paul Green, Gerrit Fialla, Alan Bruhn, Jimmy Jang, Luke Thomson and Seng Joo Keng all started the season with 3 wins.

Newly promoted Hussein gave Gerrit a fright early, but Gerrits experience prevailed.

In Division 2, Steve Rowson, Mike Rodgers, Judy Chin and Jerome Hawtin also started the season unbeaten.

Jayde Treloar had two good wins tonight, starring for Judy's Jets, with Judy beating last seasons teammate Colin. For Mike Monsters, newcomer Peter Vowels started the season well with 2 wins.

As usual the doubles is the key factor, it should be a close season.

Hopefully all the players missing this week will be available next week for a full squad.
