Winter Competition Week 1

Week 1 has commenced with some strong form for Martin Tribe, Luke Thomson and Michael Wilson with 3 wins each in Division 1. Peter Kennedy had an upset win over Jerrod Thomson finishing 12-10 in the 5th. We also welcome back Ken Hay to regular play after an extended absence.

Division 2 saw some strong performances with Hussein Amiri-Konrood and Gordon Falkingham showing that the previous season in Division 1 has paid dividends. Denis Orr also had 3 wins, but the star performer this week was Desley Payne with 3 wins for the first time, beating her teammate from the Summer season Judy Chin in 3 games.

Its a long 14 week season so plenty of time to practice and improve.
