Sunshine Coast Open

June 16, 2014

With 76 entries for this years Open, it was going to be a long day.

We actually ran quite close to time, finishing around 8pm, which was fantastic.

The level of competition was high, with Bruno Levis taking honours against Englebert Huging in the Open final. It was a great game to watch with Engleberts fantastic long game, and Brunos consistent smashes.

I would sincerely like to thank those who helped out, especially Paul Green, Jerrod Thomson, Mike Wilson, Paul Frahm and Greg Williams. An even bigger thanks goes to Renee Carver (Adam Woods better half) who assisted with the entry fee collection, prize money allocation and distribution as well as scoresheets and general help at the control desk. Without the help given, the games would not be started and things would grind to a halt.

Thanks to all those who umpired.
