Winter Competition Week 12

Pelican Waters and Twin Waters are battling out for top spot with only 2 matches separating them. With 2 weeks to go, Sippy Downs are still in contention... just, but have to play the two top teams to have any chance at qualification.

Jerrod and Seng Joo Keng had a mammoth battle with Jerrod victorious in 5 games. Twin Waters doubles pairings are proving strong and making the difference.

Russell Treloar (substitute) and Greg Kiorgaard also had a close match with Russell starting out with the first 2 games, but Greg came back with a 14-12 final game in the 5th.

In Division 2, the absentees for school holidays, exams, and injuries are proving a problem with fill ins, but the final 4 places are still open.

Mike Rodgers threw away a 2 game head start to Hussein who clinched another win as he aims to knock off Colin Rule from top spot in the Div 2 rankings. Jayde Treloar continues to play well beating Jerome Hawtin and managed to beat Greg Williams in 5, even with his funny bat.
