Selection of Jayde Treloar in Qld Table Tennis U 15 Junior Team

The Maleny Table Tennis Club congratulates our rising Queensland Junior Table Tennis player Jayde Treloar on her selection by Table Tennis Queensland in the Under 15 Queensland Table Tennis Junior team which will contest the Australian Junior Table Tennis Titles to be held at Hurstville in Sydney from the 28th Sep to 4 Oct 2014.

Jayde's selection follows her stellar performances in the Qld Junior Table Tennis championships last week where she collected 2 gold medals in teams events and a silver in the U 15 junior doubles.

Maleny Table Tennis Club President Greg Williams says that Jayde's improvement as a player has been fantastic over the past year; particularly in the Sunshine Coast club competition on Tuesday nights; but is backed up with a lot of practice and hard work here in Maleny at the Maleny Indoor Activity Centre at 50 Bunya Street Maleny on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoon, at home in Witta with proud dad Russell Treloar; and also with specialist coaching from Paul Green of the Sunshine Coast Table Tennis Club.

We know that the whole of the Sunshine Coast will wish her and the whole Qld team all the best in the upcoming national titles.
