Winter Competition Week 13

With one week to go, ther cream is rising to the top.

Division 1 has 3 teams with guaranteed finals placings, with a battle for the fourth spot between Flaxton and Buderim. No guesses for who plays who next week... yes, Buderim v Flaxton, so that will be the determining match.

Nambour leads the board in Division 2, but its still unclear about the rest of the places.

In Division 1, the doubles is proving the deciding factor, with Pelican Waters winning both to clinch the rubber. Patrick Keating took Gerrit Fialla to 15-13 in the 4th for an important win the for team.

Gordon Holden managed to keep Dale Parkes' serve under control, with a win and enough to give Mountain Creek another win for guaranteed finals.

In Division 2, Jayde Treloar kept up the momentum from the Queensland Juniors, beating Alex Glasson in 5.

Dane Stotschek however turned the tables and beat Jayde with a solid performance.

Shane Showalter also playing well after the Juniors beat Judy Chin in 3.

John Dale played well, winning 2 matches and only closely going down in 2-3 against Hussein.

Paul Framm who trains on Thursdays is improving, with a win in 3 over Alex Malanciou.
