The last week of the 14 week competition is now over with the top 4 in each division going into the finals.
Division 1 saw Paul Green top of the rankings, remaining unbeaten for the season, and Luke Thomson second. Colin Rule topped Division 2 above arch-rival Hussein Amiri-Konrood.
In Division 1, Glen Sharp finished the seasonstrongly with wins over Patrick Keating and Greg Kiorgaard, but too late to give Sippy Downs a finals place.
Russell Treloar and William Almasi had a tussle with Russell coming out victorious, 15-13 in the 5th.
Mike Wilson had 3 wins, giving Twin Waters top ranking over Pelican Waters reversing the 1-2 team ranking for the finals.
In Division 2, two teams failed to produce a team due to illness etc, but the final 4 remains unchanged. John Dale got his moneys worth with 3 matches going to 5 games, and winning two, managing to beat his number 2 counterpart and the number 1, but failed against the number 3 in Jason Firth who had an outstanding win.
Mike Rodgers pushed Steve Rowson hard over 5 games, each going down to the wire, but Steve took the match 13-11 in the 5th.
