Haul of Medals for Sunshine Coast players at Queensland Veterans Table Tennis Championships in Bunda

The QLD Veterans Championships were recently held in Bundaberg from 19-23 July. Sunshine Coast players had a field day bringing home a swag of medals.

Probably the most notable performance was the Sunshine Coast Over 40’s Men Team of Paul Green, Jerrod Thomson and Murray McKinnon which went through undefeated to bring home gold and the Perpetual Shield.

Other Sunshine Coast team successes were achieved by Alan Bruhn and Ken Hay in the Over 70’s Men. They finished 3rd of 10 teams to gain the bronze.

Judy Chin also received bronze as a member of the Over 60’s Presidents Team. Judy went through the event with only one loss.
