WHICH PLAYERS HAD TOP SEASONS

With the finals just about upon us, we can look back to see which players had stand-out seasons.

In A grade, barring a surprise, it looks like Gerrit Fialla finishing on top of the rankings. This is despite Martin Tribe leading the way for most of the season. Martin missed a few weeks which gave Gerrit the chance to swoop. Well done Gerrit.

Looking down the rankings, Michael Wilson, in 3rd spot, and Jayde Treloar, in 5th spot, should be very happy with their seasons. Dan Ettel also enjoyed 16 good wins during the season.

In Division 2 we also had a situation of the leading player for most of the season being pipped at the post. In this case, young gun Brendan Cole, who had a brilliant season and led till the last 2 weeks, was overtaken by gentleman Jim Kyle who had an equally brilliant season.

Others to shine with much improved seasons were Greg Williams (6th spot), Peter Fisher (7th spot), Ian Thomas (11th spot and several spots higher before missing the last 3 weeks), and John Bongertman (12th spot).

Don’t forget to register for Season 1 of 2018 which starts on January 9. I believe that entries close on break-up night (December 16).
