Division 1 Player of the week (June 3 2018)

This week’s player of the week is Linda Yapp. Linda is one of the most attacking players in the club. She has the ability to despatch the lowest underspin ball with a fierce unplayable drive with monotonous regularity. On her night she is capable of beating any player. She demonstrated this when she accounted for Seng Joo Keng who has often been top of the A grade rankings over many seasons including for several weeks this season.

Linda has shown her ability on numerous occasions including a great win over Jan Yu in last year’s Club Championships (Veteran Women).

While she is a fearsome opponent on the court, Linda is a humble, generous and caring member at all times (not to mention popular).
