WEBSITE UPDATE

A big thank you to our amazing club president, Desley Payne, who has kept our web site going while I have been in Europe for 5 weeks and Colin Rule has been in the US. As if Desley hasn't got enough to keep her out of mischief.

Fixture results are up to date. Please remember that there are no fixtures this Tuesday (17 Sept) and no practice this Thursday (19th Sept). But Friday practice (18th Sept) is on starting at 4pm.

Lots has been happening while I was away, including the Sunshine Coast Closed Championships and the State Veterans, and we will try to broadcast this when we get a chance. I can tell you that Adam Woods two year reign as Club Mens Champion has ended at the hands of Patrick Wuertz. But Patrick did not get it all his way as he and partner, Linda Yapp, were beaten in the final of the doubles by Adam and partner, Jim Kenworthy. Dan Ettel met Patrick in the final of the Mens and is the youngest mens finalist in club history. I believe that Jade Treloar is the overall youngest finalist.
