The Sunshine Coast Table Tennis Club started in 1975 with a few people and self-made tables.

From these humble beginnings the club grew, incorporated and in 2003 moved to Nambour High School.

Over the years we have been based at various venues including Nambour SHS, Burnside SHS, Sunshine Coast University Stadium, Meridan State College Sports Stadium, and, at the start of 2018, we have just made another move to the Maroochydore SHS Sports Stadium (Jubilee Hall).

At Maroochydore SHS we have plans to progressively upgrade the lighting and we have the opportunity to offer table tennis on additional days to our present Tuesday night fixtures and Thursday night practice.

Table Tennis is a fun individual and team sport, for all ages and abilities.

We generally play 3 or 4 fixture seasons per year, mainly with teams of 3, and sometimes 2 players. Fixtures generally include 3 singles matches and 1 or 2 doubles matches per night, plus additional warmup and practice.

Play starts at 7pm, however, the venue opens at 6pm Please arrive early to set up the tables.

Players can decide on which competition to play.
There is no need to commit to all competitions.

CLUB FEES – TUESDAY NIGHT

Nightly fees are $10 for adult fixture players and $5 per night for students under 18.

The Annual Membership fees are:

· Club $150 (comprising SCTT Club Fees $68.85 and TTQ, TTA Fees+ Insurance $84.15)

. Club Concession $140 (comprising SCTT Club Fees $63.55 and TTQ, TTA Fees+ Insurance $76.45)

· Social $75 (comprising SCTT Club Fees $34.80 and TTQ, TTA Fees+ Insurance $35.20)

Note re Concession Membership

This category is available for juniors, students, unemployed and pensioners according to the following definitions:

Junior – a person who is 18 or under at the time of becoming a member of TTQ

Student -a full time student at school, university or TAFE who is in possession of a student card

Pensioner – a person who is in possession of a government pension card

CLUB FEES – THURSDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY MORNING PRACTICE

$7 per night for all players. All players are required to at least have Social Membership of $70.00. See above. This is due after the third week.
