As is so often the case both semis in Div 1 were decided by the doubles. See the scoresheets below:-

So the Grand Final next Tuesday (August 9) is :-

Wordsworth (Eddie Anderson + Jayde Treloar) v

Shakespeare (Dan Ettel + Akash Mehta)

Should be very interesting.

DIV 2

Division 2 was a very different story. Both semis were won conclusively and early. Allowing players an early night. See Scoresheets below:-

Puccini (Brendan Clarnette + Russell Treloar + Judy Zhang) v

Bach (Martyn Clarke or Mike Rodgers + Gordon Holden + Jon Pratlett)

DIV 3

There were just 6 teams in Division 3, so the Grand Final is between the two top ranked teams. Interestingly these 2 teams played each other last night in the last week of fixtures with Matisse winning easily but Da Vincis's top player, Mitchell Bland will be hopefully back for the Grand Final next week.

Da Vinci (Mitchell Bland + Isaac Barwick + Jon Terry)

Can Mitchell make a difference? Should be a lot closer.
