Player News

Congratulations to Joel Carpenter on completing a TOPS coaching course, as part of the Table Tennis Australia coaching qualifications.

David Serifovic has been invited to attend TTA's National Para Camp in Melbourne in January, as one of only 10 athletes across the country.

David will train with Paralympic medallists. The camp is organised and funded by Table Tennis Australia to further grow the talent pool that feeds into the National Para Squad.

Covid

Masks will again be required for Table Tennis.

Please can you complete and bring to your first session, along with your membership fees. To be paid on or before 25th January,

There is a slight increase in fees aligning with the TTQ membership requirements for insurance, and other costs. These are shown on the form,

Session Times

We start again on the following dates:

· Tuesday 11th and 18th January, 6:00pm - 9:00pm

· Thursday 13th and 20th January, 6:30pm - 9:30pm

· Saturday 15th and 22nd January, 9:00am - 11:00am

· Sunday 16th and 23rd January, 1pm onwards at Maleny

· Tuesday 25th January, Fixtures will commence

· Thursday 27th January, Juniors 5:30pm - 7:00pm

The fixture competition will commence on Tuesday 25th January, once the numbers are in and relevant playoffs and ranking matches are completed on 11th and 18th January.

The format will be determined at the next Committee meeting or shortly thereafter.

The calendar will then be finalised and updated.

Information Folder

An information folder is in the club cupboard which contains essential information such as First Aid, player emergency contact details and the like.

In the event of any incident please refer to this folder.

Club assistance

We are seeking a coordinator to manage the Spinneroos.

We are also seeking players willing to be on the sub-Committees for the SCTT Closed Championships, and the SCTT Open Championships.

Please contact the Secretary or President if you are willing to participate in these, or at least to assist in some manner.
